  5. I wanted laptop for programming and had 2 choices- apple Mac or non apple laptops. Went for apple as apple is known for extracting best performance from hardware. Had 2 choices in apple - Mac book 13 inch with retina or non retina. Retina was costing somewhat around 78k on amazon and non retina for 53 k. Researched a lot and spoke to few folks who owned Mac. Retina model is a great product provided you have budget for it but went for this model as:
    1) this model can be upgraded for ssd or ram later which retina can't be. I don't intend to do it now but yes have choice to upgrade to higher specs
    2) budget constraints
    3) first Mac and didn't wanted to spend fortune. Maybe in future I might go for 15 inch model etc based on my comfort and need.

Now coming to this Mac or Mac in general. I have been using Windows laptop and desktop and heard many reviews where people boasted of apple being league ahead than Windows system. Have tried it myself and trust me you won't repent your decision of going for Mac. It's class apart and would be a shame comparing apple with nin apple laptops.
