Who thinks there are other civilizations out there like this in our Universe? This could be a view from an existing planet. What if...?

There is an estimated 170 billion galaxies in our Universe. There are spiral galaxies out there with more than a trillion stars, and giant elliptical galaxies with more than 100 trillion stars. The Milky Way galaxy, our galaxy, is expected to have up to 400 billion stars.

If you multiply the number of stars in our galaxy by the number of galaxies in the Universe, you get approximately 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars. That’s a 1 followed by twenty-four zeros, which is a septillion stars.

Each star is estimated to have one or more planets orbiting it. Our star, the Sun, has eight planets, and Pluto of course and countless of dwarf planets out there. Imagine how many possible planets are in the Universe, just imagine.

Now who thinks we are alone...?
